My son is on the spectrum and doesn’t do well with classroom learning and the environment here has been great for him. If you have a struggling learner and/or reader, I HIGHLY recommend brain training. The more I have learned about tutoring vs brain training, the more I wish I had gotten him here sooner.
LearningRx has done SO much to help my child. They worked with him on his level and made accommodations when needed to help him be successful in their program. If it wasn’t for them, he would have fallen behind more in school than he already was. All the staff is very welcoming and made my child and myself feel welcome. My son has been attending LearningRx for just a month, and he loves it! He really enjoys the challenging games and looks forward to each session. I just completed 12 weeks of training at LearningRx and could not be happier with the experience. Over the course of the program, I noticed steady and meaningful improvements: faster speed on exercises, greater confidence with mental math (especially addition and multiplication under time pressure), and better focus even with auditory distractions. I also became more consistent at sustaining attention, switching tasks quickly, and tolerating interruptions without losing momentum.
Our son is almost done with the program and we are very impressed with his progress and accomplishments so far. He has made great strides with his memory, processing skills, and overall attitude about learning. We have noticed less anxiety and frustration when he’s doing homework at home. We’ve been very happy with the trainer he works with and the whole staff at the Eagan office is wonderful. Thank you!
Homework was a nightly battle—three hours of stress, tears, and very little progress. Then we found LearningRx. We went in for the evaluation, and for the first time, we saw a new approach—one that focused on how the brain learns, not just what to learn. That summer, Rosa started the program. At first, it wasn’t easy getting her there, but the team made it fun and engaging. Pretty soon, she was the one reminding me it was time to go. She finished the program, got her picture on the wall, and something just clicked.
My child was struggling so much with reading in school and at home. She had one-on-one help through the school for a full school year but was still significantly below grade level. Her frustration began to build with tests taking almost 3x longer for her to complete when compared to her peers. She started to dislike going to school because it was too difficult. She has grown tremendously with LearningRx. She is volunteering to read at school and has improved in her skills in many ways.
My son is a 9th grader and has had a great experience at LearningRx. He enjoys the “brain games” that are a part of the learning process. Julie and Josh have been great to work with! We are excited to see the progress that he makes once he finishes the program.
LearningRx has been absolutely wonderful! The staff are caring, patient, and so supportive. Before I started LearningRx my mind always wonders off and I cannot stay on a task, however in the first week of LearningRx I could already see the difference!
