Our daughter had a great experience with Learning RX. We saw great growth for her. My son’s reading scores have raised several levels since completing his brain training course. His main takeaway was he is a lot less reactive and impulsive in his behavior. This was my main reasoning for trying out this program. He slows down and thinks about things before reacting to things and that has been a HUGE win for us!

We could not recommend this program enough. They worked with us virtually as we were out of state. We wouldn’t have been able to do it if they didn’t have that flexibility. It requires a lot of work on the participants’ part, but we have seen our son grow leaps and bounds in his ability to read and enjoyment of it. It’s worth the investment

Our daughter always walked out after her session with a big smile, feeling more confident. Her short and long-term memory have improved, noticeable in her daily school and home routines. Her number sense has improved dramatically. Proof of this has been her ability to understand and work with factors, fractions, and the coordinate system, which I thought would be an extremely difficult task to accomplish.

My brain is doing so much better (after 3 major strokes) doing this program online 3 sessions/week. It’s challenging, but my trainer is terrific.
LearningRx is a truly amazing program. Once we started with LearningRx after about 3 months into our sessions, she was able to just pick up her books and go without fighting/avoiding her work – especially her vocab, reading, and spelling assignments.
Our daughter just finished her 80th session and we believe it has improved her focus and confidence tremendously. While debating if we should check it out, we thought we’d rather give it a try instead of continuing to struggle and wonder if we made a mistake by not going or going too late. Now that we are through the sessions, we can say it was worth the time and financial commitment.
Dargan and Michelle were amazing to work with at LearningRx Charlottesville, walking along side us each step of the way and doing everything they could to make our experience a successful one. Their expertise and compassion was just what my son needed to help get him to the next level of his cognitive development. My son is on the spectrum and doesn’t do well with classroom learning and the environment here has been great for him. If you have a struggling learner and/or reader, I HIGHLY recommend brain training. The more I have learned about tutoring vs brain training, the more I wish I had gotten him here sooner.

LearningRx has been so awesome and such a blessing for me!…I had never really planned ahead well or been an organizer type of person, but I had done well in school. So we found LearningRx, and in addition to my already recognized struggles, their pre-assessment revealed other areas of weaknesses that needed to be addressed. My focus and concentration have gotten a lot better, and it is harder to be distracted, by myself or others. My working memory and ability to use logic to figure various daily scenarios out has also improved…I would highly recommend LearningRx to others!
We had our 11th grade son go to LearningRx because he was struggling with reading comprehension and listening comprehension. We were a bit worried that it would be too elementary as the other programs we looked into were. We were pleasantly surprised by the result and highly recommend it to anyone! Our son was able to make gains in all areas as well as gain much needed confidence to tackle any future challenge that comes his way!
I was thoroughly impressed with the expertise of the tutors at LearningRx, who demonstrated a deep understanding of the cognitive assessment process and provided personalized guidance to help me overcome my memory problems. After completing a 20-week program, we’ve seen great improvements in her abilities at school. Learning RX has been very beneficial for my 11 year old. I can see improvements already (just about 3 months) with her memory, attention and focus. She is also building confidence as she progresses through the exercises and the various levels. With her learning challenges, she has always struggled with self-esteem. Her trainer is hands-down amazing. She gives her the perfect amount of support while also pushing her to keep going forward when things get really challenging. It’s obvious she has a genuine interest and deeply cares about my daughter’s progress and future success.

My son started Learning RX when he was 18. He knew he wasn’t ready to start college as having dyslexia and other learning challenges made processing large amounts of information very taxing. ..Ashley was incredibly supportive and encouraging. She was able to individualize the program to meet his specific needs. She went above and beyond our expectations!…It has been incredible to see him be able to focus and read for long periods of time and to really thrive.

My daughter was struggling to read anything beyond basic CVC words at 8 years old. After diagnosing her specific issues, the folks at Learning Rx delivered their reading program to my daughter.
