I’m Lynne, the Owner of LearningRx San Antonio Northwest. With degrees in Business & Finance, Elementary Education, and a Master’s in Educational Administration & Reading/Language Arts, as well as certifications as a Certified Educator and Reading Specialist, I am proud to lead a center dedicated to helping learners of all ages unlock their potential.
At LearningRx, we don’t tutor—we train the brain. Our programs are grounded in decades of neuroscience research showing that the brain can change and grow stronger at any age. By targeting foundational skills like memory, attention, processing speed, reasoning, and reading, we get to the root of learning struggles and help people learn easier, think faster, and perform better.

Whitney has been with LearningRx since 2009 and has served as a Director of the Northwest Center since 2016. She holds degrees in Psychology and Education and has consulted with thousands of families to help them understand how efficient learning and performance are rooted in strong cognitive skills.
As a Board-Certified Cognitive Specialist and Master Cognitive Skills Trainer, Whitney is passionate about helping individuals of all ages overcome learning struggles and unlock their potential. She is especially gifted at turning “I can’t” into “I can,” and she thrives on seeing her clients master skills that once felt impossible. She loves having graduates and past clients come back to tell her of all the incredible things they’ve accomplished as a result of their dedication to cognitive training.
With over two decades of working with students one-on-one, Whitney continues to lead with compassion, expertise, and a commitment to transforming lives through one-on-one cognitive skills training.
Christa
Assistant Director
Board Certified Cognitive Specialist
Christa is a dedicated cognitive skills trainer with over a decade of experience working with individuals of all ages to improve learning, memory, and processing abilities. As a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist, Christa brings a deep understanding of brain-based learning strategies and personalized training techniques to every client she works with.
Since joining LearningRx in 2018, Christa has supported students, professionals, and families in achieving meaningful cognitive growth through one-on-one brain training. Her background in social work and behavioral intervention enhances her ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds and tailor programs that meet both academic and personal development goals.
Christa is passionate about empowering individuals to overcome cognitive challenges and unlock their full potential. She thrives on watching her clients gain confidence, independence, and lifelong learning skills through targeted brain training.
Kristi
Cognitive Skills Trainer
Kristi has been a certified Cognitive Skills Trainer with LearningRx since 2022 and is also a certified elementary school teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She is passionate about working one-on-one with students to build their confidence in reading and learning, helping them unlock their full academic potential.
In her free time, Kristi enjoys creative pursuits such as painting, writing, photography, and reading. Her dedication to fostering both skill growth and self-confidence makes her a valued member of the LearningRx team.
Suzy
Cognitive Skills Trainer
Suzy earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminology and is currently preparing to take the LSAT as she works toward her dream of attending law school. She has a strong background in tutoring and loves helping students discover just how capable they are. Suzy brings warmth, encouragement, and dedication to every training session, creating an environment where students feel supported and confident as they grow. When she’s not at LearningRx, Suzy enjoys biking, painting, and spending time outdoors.
Talha
Cognitive Skills Trainer
Talha earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology and is currently studying for the MCAT as he pursues his goal of attending medical school. He is fluent in Hindi and Urdu and brings a strong background in tutoring and working with underserved populations. Talha is passionate about helping students strengthen their thinking and learning skills while building confidence along the way. His calm, encouraging approach helps every learner feel supported and capable. Outside of LearningRx, Talha enjoys exploring and hiking state and national parks and playing basketball.
Lauren
Cognitive Skills Trainer
Lauren holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. She brings a unique blend of scientific insight and compassionate support to her work at LearningRx. Lauren is passionate about empowering her clients to strengthen their cognitive skills and discover that, with dedication and hard work, they can achieve remarkable success.
Outside of the center, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and relaxing with her beloved cat, Luna. Her approachable personality, enthusiasm for learning, and commitment to client growth make her a valued member of the LearningRx team.
Sierra
Cognitive Skills Trainer
Sierra holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and has earned multiple certifications in data analytics. She combines her analytical expertise with a passion for helping clients uncover their inner strengths and achieve their goals. At LearningRx, Sierra is dedicated to guiding individuals toward success by fostering confidence, resilience, and a belief in their own abilities.
Outside of work, Sierra enjoys playing video games and spending time with her silver Labrador, Lemmy. Her problem-solving skills, supportive nature, and commitment to client growth make her an integral part of the LearningRx team.
Yvonne
Cognitive Skills Trainer
Yvonne is a skilled Cognitive Trainer with a background in human development, education, and healthcare. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Arts in Human Development and Family Sciences with a Pre-Health Professions certificate from The University of Texas at Austin. Her professional experience spans education and healthcare. In these roles, she supported children’s academic and social-emotional growth, guided positive learning environments, and built strong communication and problem-solving skills in high-responsibility healthcare settings.
She brings patience, encouragement, and a passion for helping others reach their potential to every training session at LearningRx. In her free time, Yvonne enjoys yoga, volunteering, and arts and crafts.
