Brain Training or Tutoring for Math Skills?

If you’re looking for math help, a math tutor might seem similar to brain training. In fact, brain training and math tutoring involve different approaches, and each one works best for different types of learners.

A math tutor will take a similar approach to teaching math that kids find at school. This can be helpful for students who’ve missed classes or benefit from repeating material. However, if students are having trouble in math class because they need to strengthen underlying skills, they’ll have just as much trouble with math tutoring.

This is where brain training offers a different approach to math help.
