Desmond has been known in school for his high intelligence and ability to catch on to concepts and even help his peers understand. Our daughter just finished her 80th session and we believe it has improved her focus and confidence tremendously. While debating if we should check it out, we thought we’d rather give it a try instead of continuing to struggle and wonder if we made a mistake by not going or going too late. Now that we are through the sessions, we can say it was worth the time and financial commitment.
As a result of the LearningRx training, my daughter is now in a much better place. She approaches her schoolwork with ease and enthusiasm, no longer feeling overwhelmed or anxious. She has developed patience with herself and her school tasks within the school environment. She’s no longer so hard on herself when she faces challenges.
It was amazing how this brain training positively affected every aspect of my 8-year old’s life, from comprehending what he read to learning and speaking to building confidence in himself and working through the meltdowns rather than shutting down. LearningRx has a positive and fun environment that makes learning fun for my 8-year-old who needs help with reading. All the staff are friendly and care about each individual child. In just a few short months I have seen a more positive attitude and more self confidence in my son.
My 15-year old was struggling with getting school work done and for the first time lacked confidence that he could do it. Middle school had been effortless but remote high school was proving to be a problem. Specifically he was having problems reading and retaining the story and meaning of the Odyssey. The journey through LearningRX not only worked on his learning skills but also on the mindset that my son can push through the hard work and do things he did not think he could. Dargan and his colleagues, Ashley and Gray, are AMAZING brain trainers. They are so patient, kind and caring and those are the necessary ingredients to challenge an older brain like mine (55 years) to grow and improve. He is reading chapter books and is testing in 80th percentile for math and reading. He is no longer in any interventions support in school. He is now so confident in all areas and I know there is no way we as parents could have gotten him here alone. I would recommend any parent to embrace this program and allow it to help support your child!
This program has really helped him believe in himself when it comes to trying something new or doing something he’s scared to do, or that’s just plain hard. His brain can quickly process the situation and engage in what needs to get done. He doesn’t get as frustrated when doing schoolwork. He’s always had issues with fine motor skills like doing buttons. Brain training has helped with that too, and now he’s able to do his own buttons on his clothes. Everyone could benefit from these services and this program.
