Our son and us were fortunate to have found LearningRx to help him with so many important aspects of his everyday life. He eagerly attended 107 brain training sessions that he gave his best effort, energy and determination to get the most out of every minute he was there. The program trainers worked hard to challenge Deacon in such a way to have optimal growth in reading and comprehension. The center and brain training activities were engaging and kept Deacon in a place of wanting to continue with things that are very hard for him. He was cared for and he could tell he was liked and being championed each time he had a session. Deacon now has more confidence in reading.
This is an evidence-based training that was conducted with the utmost organization and professionalism and resulted in appreciable improvements in my child’s school performance but more importantly, on his well-being. This was money well invested. I had contact with four different staff members, all very knowledgeable and professional. My child’s trainer was fantastic. Her commitment to my child’s improvement was evident.
Our adopted daughter struggled in every socially setting and with impulse control. She made so much progress in this program are watching her thrive every day. My son started Learning RX when he was 18. Great program! My son completed about 4 months of the program and made such a huge change! I wasn’t for sure until I saw the numbers go up! The program director Mrs Donesa was great and very accommodating! My son’s instructor was also great as well, they align the kids to who suits them best, which is great! I would highly recommend.

He is reading chapter books and is testing in 80th percentile for math and reading. He is no longer in any interventions support in school. Noah appears to have more patience at home. Prior to classes at LearningRx I felt there were constant “battles” to get homework done, chores at home, and day-to-day requests. If Noah becomes overwhelmed, he is able to communicate that to me in a more positive way.

Our daughter has ADHD and on meds that were helpful but she kept running into the same roadblocks academically: poor organization, not completing tasks, avoiding work…So I searched for help and found Learning RX. The training was slow going but improved steadily and I was noticing an improvement in her grades and her confidence. One year later she only made 1 C and is setting goals for her grades. She has far surpassed our expectations with training and we feel it is directly due to the training at Learning RX.

Development of confidence in learning and perseverance. During the process there was always the concern of preserving confidence and self-esteem while learning and meeting new challenges. The staff were always patient, helpful, and kind.
I can’t possibly say enough about LearningRx Columbus. They have been absolutely amazing with my son. He struggles with memory and overall processing information. Bonnie literally went from barely reading, total meltdown when she was asked to read to now reading above grade level and picking up books for fun even. Training has also improved her attention and focus more than we thought possible. We have even been able to taper off her ADHD meds. Total transformation!
