LearningRx was our saving grace. I searched high and low for services like this and finally found them. My son was struggling so bad in school and was so far behind his peers. He not only lacked the educational ability, but he lacked confidence. For the last year and a half, he went here and they built his confidence beyond what I could ever imagine. After suffering an acquired brain injury, I never thought I’d hear my son read. But thanks to the wonderful staff at LearningRx he is now reading and excited to learn.
The program trainers worked hard to challenge Deacon in such a way to have optimal growth in reading and comprehension. The center and brain training activities were engaging and kept Deacon in a place of wanting to continue with things that are very hard for him. He was cared for and he could tell he was liked and being championed each time he had a session. Deacon now has more confidence in reading.
I saw improvement with my child’s ability to remember simple tasks without assistance. I noticed that he would strive to continue working on something even if it became difficult. The trainers were all very patient with him and understood his ability.
I like the importance placed upon reading. I have witnessed my son reading faster and comprehending much more of the information.
Deciding to proceed with LearningRx turned out to be an excellent choice. By the spring of first grade, Mason showed significant improvements in sitting still, focusing, and remembering tasks, confirmed both at school and home. The best part was Mason expressing his newfound ability to focus and enjoy more free time at school thanks to LearningRx.
LearningRx gave me confidence and essential processing skills I needed for the future. I saw that when I worked at it, I could pass any level given to me, even if it seemed difficult at first. At school I began to finish tests more quickly and some homework assignments that I had were done faster than I thought they would take. It was not a one size fits all program. The tested progress along the way, made necessary adjustment to ensure progress was happening. The director was always available if we needed anything, answered all our questions and make sure we were comfortable before we started, during the training and following graduation.
My son has made tremendous progress in multiple areas! He’s more confident and was even mentioning today, weeks after LearningRx ended, that he wants to go back and say hi to everyone since he loved his trainers! Highly recommend this program.

We were incredibly happy with the results after the completion of his training. Jeri and Kai were very attentive to our son’s development and continually kept us updated on his progress.
The program was an excellent experience for Kai. He made a lot of progress in spite of his resistance at times. We are seeing his improvements in his schoolwork, less Cs and more As and Bs. His piano teacher can see the changes in his focus and progress with learning his material.

My daughter has more fluency and confidence now when she reads, but most of all, she is reading! She totes several books in her bookbag to and from school to read during down-time at school and at home. Reading is no longer seen as a chore and there is no longer the same struggle we had before starting this program.
Returning to “learning” for my husband at 65 wasn’t easy, but the pace created for him and the variety in learning was so successful and engaging. The program really turned his life around for the better.

Lisa and the trainers here never gave up on my son even though he was difficult to work with. He is now doing much better in school when he puts forth effort. He is willing to try new things. My son is making better grades; he is doing well at school when he chooses to do his assignments. He is trying new things and doesn’t shut down as easily.

Our son and us were fortunate to have found LearningRx to help him with so many important aspects of his everyday life. He eagerly attended 107 brain training sessions that he gave his best effort, energy and determination to get the most out of every minute he was there. A special thanks to trainer Prudence, whose expertise and enthusiasm made learning an enjoyable experience for her. The one-on-one training was highly targeted, and we saw noticeable improvements in a short period of time. After more than a year of training, she has now caught up with her peers—exceeding our expectations!
We came in looking for additional help, especially in reading, for our son who is so bright but was struggling with his schoolwork. The assessment affirmed what we thought as far as some cognitive skills which needed strengthening. I homeschool so I’ve been able to give him tons of one-on-one tutoring, but the improvement has been so slow. We are so excited about his progress and believe we have found just the right tool to make the bridges in his mind and give him the help he needs. Very thankful to have found this place!

A year ago, my daughter was in tears almost every day regarding her math assignments. Now, although she still needs to work at math, there are no tears, and she has an increased level of confidence that she CAN do it.
