Meet the Team at LearningRx Louisville!

Molly Hastings-Parke
Center Owner & Executive Director
Molly is the Owner and Executive Director of LearningRx Louisville, a Board Certified Cognitive
Specialist (BCCS), and the owner of Grace Place Learning Center. She also serves as Director
of Research and Educational Resources for NeuroSpark Network, an organization dedicated to
equipping parents, educators, and healthcare professionals with tools, training, and advocacy to
support ADHD and neurodivergent children.
Molly began her career with LearningRx in 2011 after earning her Bachelor of Science in
Psychology, studying elementary education, and later attending graduate school for social work.
While in college, she worked in memory research under a psychology professor who
encouraged her to join the newly opening Louisville LearningRx center. She quickly discovered
her calling. Within six months of starting as a cognitive trainer, she was promoted to Director of
Training. In 2019, she purchased the center, expanding its reach and impact in the Louisville
community.
With over a decade of experience in cognitive training, Molly is passionate about changing lives
and offering hope through learning. She believes every child and adult should be met where
they are and given the tools and encouragement to succeed.
Her professional mission became deeply personal when her oldest daughter was diagnosed on
the autism spectrum at age three. After completing LearningRx brain training prior to kindergarten, her daughter thrived academically and socially, exceeding expectations and
growing into a confident learner. Experiencing that transformation firsthand strengthened Molly’s commitment to helping other families navigate similar journeys with confidence and hope.
Through her leadership at LearningRx Louisville and Grace Place, Molly has worked extensively
with neurodivergent students and guided many families through the often overwhelming process
of understanding diagnoses, securing resources, and building effective support systems. Her
involvement with Neuro Spark Network reflects her broader vision: when communities better
support neurodivergent learners, everyone benefits.

Katie Durbin
Center Director
Katie has worked at LearningRx since early 2017. When she was growing up she shocked everyone by saying she wanted to be a grandmother. She eventually settled on a teacher and will forever be a preschool teacher in her heart.
Her favorite subject to tutor and teach is reading, but in school she loved english. When she discovered her love for humanities in college, she ended up with her minor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and though it changes (quite often!), her favorite book is Pride and Prejudice.
Her favorite thing about LearningRx is that it feels like family. “I love the people that I work with and I know that we all want the same thing – to help our students be the best that they can be. To make their lives and experiences easier. You will not find anyone that cares more than the people here,” she shares.
Katie loves to spend time with her husband and their three girls. She enjoys finding new things around Louisville to do and read.

Matt Beardslee
Brain Trainer; Board Certified Cognitive Coach (BCCC)
Matt holds his master’s degree in social work and spent years serving in mobile crisis in Brooklyn, New York. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, staying active, and watching shows with his wife and three dogs. His favorite subjects to tutor and teach are reading and math. He wanted to be a marine biologist or a oceanographer growing up so it makes sense that his favorite subject in school was science. He believes that learning is mostly about wonder and curiosity and that specific subject areas may be tedious, but our capacity to wonder is limitless. Matt has many favorite books but his most recent favorite was All the Light We Cannot See. His favorite part about working at LearningRx is the enthusiasm and wonder of the kids and watching them work hard.

Mariah Worley
Brain Trainer
In addition to being a brain trainer, Mariah is a preschool teaching assistant and holds her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering. She is an avid knitter and dreamed of being a doctor when she was growing up. Her favorite subject in school was math and it is her favorite subject to tutor and teach to this day.

Aidan Beardslee
Brain Trainer
Aidan attended Ohio University and volunteers at Norton Children’s Hospital. When he was growing up, he wanted to be an actor. He has fond memories of performing in school plays and his favorite subject in school was history. It’s also his favorite to teach. He enjoys the book Silver as well as practicing and studying photography, and watching movies. His favorite part about working at LearningRx is helping kids and his awesome co-workers.

Judie Virant
Brain Trainer
Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Judie calls Louisville her home because this is where she raised her family and taught reading/Spanish for over 20 years. Judie loves how LearningRx can show anyone how to use their brain’s capacity to accomplish great things. She enjoys being part of a team of dedicated and supportive people.
