My daughter and son in-law needed to find a way to get their daughter some help with reading. They spoke with a few friends that had children that attended LearningRx with great success. After the evaluation she started and immediately embraced the learning process. I feel very fortunate to be able to bring her to the classes when I can. I am very impressed with her progress in such a short time. Her goal is to be able to read a chapter book like her siblings mine is just to see her read without out her being embarrassed.

Our plan was individually tailored to our daughter’s needs, with essential measure of success and effectiveness built into it. Everyone involved, from the director to the trainer, support staff, etc. were very helpful. Lastly, high levels of communication were maintained and encouraged throughout the process.
Our son came into the program while in grade 1 with significant anxiety when it came to his class performance. This was most striking when it came to reading. There were concerns with ADHD and possibly dyslexia. He is listening better and his reading has taken huge strides forward. You can see how this has improved his confidence.

My 24 year old daughter has Down Syndrome…Before Learning RX my daughter had tried many ways to learn to read, and she would always get stuck on blending words. Learning RX’s expertise on the brain and learning has proved that my daughter can read. Truly excellent program. Staff was excellent to work with. They kept us informed and were flexible with schedule changes when needed. My child’s progress was tremendous. Grades went up and her attitude towards school became more positive. I definitely recommend LearningRx.
Ethan grew a lot over the 6 months with the program at home and more so in school. Ethan started his 6th grade year at a 4th grade level and ended the year right at 6th grade level. This is a huge jump!

LearningRx has made a HUGE difference in my son’s ability to read and write, as well as his math and attention-based skills in general. He and I had already worked very hard for years using Logic of English, and made progress, but it wasn’t enough to keep him at grade level. He’s gone from a 4th-grade level to an 8th-grade level in 9 months… Additionally, he’s been doing his work with his trainer, so he’s been able to make good use of his extra time at home.
The improvements in my child’s reading skills and confidence that she has gained, a result of the LearningRx training. My child has gained so much confidence in her reading skills. She is no longer scared to pronounce words or make a mistake. She jumps right into each assignment without hesitating.
I cannot say enough positive things about the impact that LearningRx has had on my children. We saw measurable improvements over the course of the training in not only his reading and comprehension but also in his confidence at school and with peers. So when my second child began displaying similar struggles, he completed the program and made huge progress as well. My daughter is a senior in high school and has struggled in school all her life. She has had tutors on and off for over 10 years. Her biggest struggles were with her processing both visual and auditory, memorizing math facts and problem solving to name a few. They were very understanding and flexible with her training sessions because she is a very busy student. They met three days a week online for about six months and now after those six months, she has improved in every area and is doing better in school and has much more confidence in herself. She now has a good foundation to be successful in life.
Reading level has gone up. I have also noticed a huge improvement in Holden’s vocabulary. He still takes a while to process things but his ability to process thoughts has significantly improved.

Hearing the news that your daughter has dyslexia is quite frightening. As a parent all you see is your bright, beautiful, and perfect little girl. Your first thought is fear, but then you want to help. Reaching out to LearningRx was the best academic decision we could have ever made for her. They have the sweetest staff, and we were blessed with the best trainer. She has truly transformed my daughter to a reader. Her confidence level when reading has tripled. Through all of the whining and complaining, they pushed through.
I am so glad that we found LearningRx as it has been a great experience for all of us. It really opened our eyes to the power of the mind and how it can adapt to anything. If one works on the deficiencies that they have, those deficiencies will soon become issues of the past and may even become strengths as they work their way through the LearningRx curriculum.
I turned 68 and finished my training at RX Learning in Charlottesville a few weeks ago. Michelle, my trainer, made my experience enjoyable, beneficial and relevant. I was a student at LearningRx 4.5 years ago in high school and now work in Atlanta full time. I often look back and thank LearningRX for helping me further develop the skills I needed to continuously grow academically and professionally. From day 1 to the last day training, Trenton’s ability to comprehend and retain any material that’s presented to him has greatly improved and has translated into better grades on his report card.
