My son started Learning RX when he was 18. He knew he wasn’t ready to start college as having dyslexia and other learning challenges made processing large amounts of information very taxing. ..Ashley was incredibly supportive and encouraging. On the recommendation of a friend, we turned to LearningRx Richmond Hill. Khai and Jeri conducted a thorough assessment and designed a personalized training plan tailored to my daughter’s needs. A special thanks to trainer Prudence, whose expertise and enthusiasm made learning an enjoyable experience for her. The one-on-one training was highly targeted, and we saw noticeable improvements in a short period of time. After more than a year of training, she has now caught up with her peers—exceeding our expectations!
My child is more confident in herself and school. She is not avoiding reading, she knows that she is capable and wants to continue to improve. She can focus easier and when she is told homework needs to get done, she gets it done. She is not running to use the bathroom as an excuse to avoid schoolwork.

Our daughter just finished her 80th session and we believe it has improved her focus and confidence tremendously. While debating if we should check it out, we thought we’d rather give it a try instead of continuing to struggle and wonder if we made a mistake by not going or going too late. Now that we are through the sessions, we can say it was worth the time and financial commitment.
The reason why I could succeed was that I was on ADHD medication, but the medication made me extremely depressed and enraged all of the time. When I stopped taking it, I was filled with great joy because of my newfound freedom. But something was still wrong. Without the medication, I forgot the first part of the sentence by the end of the second part of the sentence. My imagination never turned off, and despite going to school an hour early and tutoring for an hour after school, I barely passed with Cs. Then I enrolled in LearningRx. Within three months, I was on fire. I could concentrate, handle awkward social situations, find motivation, put my creative ideas in paper. I attacked school with newfound strength. Last year I was the slowest kid in the class, but this year I am one of the fastest and smartest.
Our daughter’s confidence has grown through the roof! The entire staff was genuine and dedicated to helping achieve our goals. The results were amazing. Our trainer was dedicated and connected very well with our daughter. He was a fantastic motivator.
As a result of the LearningRx training, my daughter is now in a much better place. She approaches her schoolwork with ease and enthusiasm, no longer feeling overwhelmed or anxious. She has developed patience with herself and her school tasks within the school environment. She’s no longer so hard on herself when she faces challenges.
The improvement in his overall willingness to work on academics has been wonderful. I am a big fan! He has learned to keep trying, mistakes or wrong answers are okay. He no longer gets as frustrated or upset with wrong answers.

After covid my son found himself 2 1/2 years behind in reading. With ADHD and Dyslexia and so much time missed in the classroom he needed more help then the school could offer. After 9 months we have seen tremendous progress. It is a big commitment both financially and time but it was worth it.

My son has many learning delays and is partially deaf, and how Ashley has worked with him to get him to process information over the past 6 months is truly an answer to all of our years of trying to help him. After completing a 20-week program, we’ve seen great improvements in her abilities at school. She is better able to stay focused and deal with distractions, something that had previously been a challenge. Her confidence has soared and this boost in self-assurance has been evident in all areas of her academic and social life. Math, which once felt like a constant struggle, has become much easier for her. She now handles math facts with greater ease and working through her math homework no longer causes the same frustration.

I’m definitely seeing improvements in my child’s overall confidence with school. Reading has improved tremendously as well as spelling and handwriting. Organizational skills are also much improved. Our trainer was absolutely amazing! 6th grade is off to a good start!!
