I completed a 6 month course of brain training with LearningRX…I found Dargan through the Stroke Comback club after his presentation there and I was hooked. The program trainers worked hard to challenge Deacon in such a way to have optimal growth in reading and comprehension. The center and brain training activities were engaging and kept Deacon in a place of wanting to continue with things that are very hard for him. He was cared for and he could tell he was liked and being championed each time he had a session. Deacon now has more confidence in reading.
It was amazing how this brain training positively affected every aspect of my 8-year old’s life, from comprehending what he read to learning and speaking to building confidence in himself and working through the meltdowns rather than shutting down. Homework time, discipline time, and times of losing are also a lot easier with new understanding. All of which will make his life lessons, now and in the future, easier to adapt to and learn from!

Learning RX has been such an amazing experience for my 7 year old son who most likely has dyslexia. He can now effortlessly blend 3 letter words together whereas before he started training there he could hardly blend 2 letter words and hated reading. I can’t put into words how absolutely grateful I am for Kathi and Doug sincerely. I sustained several injuries including a closed-head injury when a nail gun fell off of a roof and hit me directly on the head…I started with an initial 18-week program and could see the impact. This program has really helped him believe in himself when it comes to trying something new or doing something he’s scared to do, or that’s just plain hard.
