The staff here is AMAZING. They are professional, experts in their field, & care about their students. Our child has greatly disliked reading & struggles meeting school standards. After starting LearningRx she has begun reading a chapter book for her free time & has fallen in love with reading! This is a huge win for her! I was one overwhelmed parent after being told my daughter was suspected as having dyslexia by her school, which followed up with “we won’t be able to get her where she needs to be in reading”, essentially. I had seen the LearningRx sign before, so that was my first call. I had a lot of questions! The front desk (Jordan) was so very helpful at giving me as much information as she could before meeting us. We have now finished our brain training plan and are so happy with the results!
My daughter was really struggling to read. Letter recognition and phonetics were so hard for her to remember. She was also struggling to stay focused for an extended period of time as well. After attending LearningRx for the past few months, we have seen drastic changes. Not only does she now know her letters and sounds. She’s READING! This program has helped her confidence in school. She is able to do seat work with little to no guidance from her teacher.
Our experience in LearningRx has been the best decision we ever made. The trainers are the best and the passion they put into it made a difference in my child’s life. We have seen so much improvement on our son that from day one we knew we were at the right place to starting to read and now able to even read and text back to people when before he was using voice command. He grew self-esteem and more.
From our first conversations with LearningRx staff, the assessment process, starting our training schedule to now where we have established a routine, we have felt well informed and cared for by the staff. We receive frequent progress check ins and can observe training sessions anytime we like. The LearningRx staff do a great job with the range of diverse learners and seem to find ways to keep them all engaged. LearningRx is the best decision my family ever made for my daughter. We didn’t tell her teachers that she was getting executive functioning coaching, so it’s amazing when they comment on how much more on top of things she has become this year! My daughter feels like her coach is her best friend and is excited every time she has class.
The big thing for us is responsiveness and taking the time to clearly respond. The director was always accessible, and as accommodating as needed. When we needed to make changes, she also took action. I think there were some unforeseen staffing challenges the director has to respond to, and I thought Vincent didn’t really lose too much of a connection when the changes were made.
We stumbled upon LearningRx, thinking it was worth a shot— after graduating under a year later, we can confidently say it helped our child make better connections and improved her working memory. The staff and director are like family to us; they nurtured and encouraged our daughter more than just academically; they absolutely instilled confidence and kept her motivated throughout her training. Highly, highly recommend for kids and adults with memory problems, ADHD, problems with executive function and disorganization, or just needing a boost in productivity and efficiency.
I’m starting training myself (with my 12-year-old son and father) to see if the virtual version holds up—a trial is available. If you want real-world listening and thinking skills built with grit, nuance, and scientific grounding, this program is worth your time and money. It’s a game-changer.
I know that Riley still needs work with his attention and focus. However, I have seen improvement in these areas that has helped his schoolwork. I’ve seen that he’s been a bit quicker to solve a problem and remember what he was doing. These are the biggest areas I’ve seen. Another plus has been that he’ll sit and focus for a longer period of time.
My daughter’s reading and math ability improved greatly while my daughter was this is program. Trainers are knowledgeable, patient, professional and flexible.
Will is now interested in reading on his own — he’s diving into books. It’s great to see him grow in this area, where he was not willing to do before. Will has grown in confidence and his self-esteem and is better able to deal with challenges when he’s faced with time.

Life-Changing Experience at LearningRx Richmond Hill. The brain training exercises used at LearningRx are nothing like traditional tutoring — they are engaging, innovative, and truly transformative. Hazel started out unwilling to even try when it came to learning. Now, after completing her program at LearningRx she happily completes her homework and comes home from school excited to tell me all about what she learned! The reason why I could succeed was that I was on ADHD medication, but the medication made me extremely depressed and enraged all of the time. When I stopped taking it, I was filled with great joy because of my newfound freedom. But something was still wrong. Without the medication, I forgot the first part of the sentence by the end of the second part of the sentence. My imagination never turned off, and despite going to school an hour early and tutoring for an hour after school, I barely passed with Cs. Then I enrolled in LearningRx. Within three months, I was on fire. I could concentrate, handle awkward social situations, find motivation, put my creative ideas in paper. I attacked school with newfound strength. Last year I was the slowest kid in the class, but this year I am one of the fastest and smartest.
Working with Dr. Jackson and the staff at LearningRx has helped me understand where my 13-year-old son has struggles. His pretest showed that his auditory processing was around 6 years of age. The post test showed a significant 10-year gain which has resulted in less frustration when given tasks to complete. His visual, logic-reasoning and processing speed increased. Our daughter just finished her 80th session and we believe it has improved her focus and confidence tremendously. While debating if we should check it out, we thought we’d rather give it a try instead of continuing to struggle and wonder if we made a mistake by not going or going too late.
