LearningRx is the only effective tutoring method, and both my kids have made huge improvements. I have noticed a big change in my son’s reading; he is on an IEP and wasn’t making much progress, even though the district is taking credit and saying he is making progress with his current IEP, he lacked intervention from the district. I still believed that without outside support, he would not make any improvement.
The improvement in his overall willingness to work on academics has been wonderful. I am a big fan! He has learned to keep trying, mistakes or wrong answers are okay. He no longer gets as frustrated or upset with wrong answers.

Math was always a struggle for her and in the last month, she’s been completing her assignments on her own without asking for help at all (she used to ask for help at least a few times every assignment) and she’s been getting 90+% on every one! My daughter had an exceptional experience with LearningRx. Both my daughter’s teachers and we, her parents, observed a remarkable enhancement in her processing speed and memory. The struggle she previously encountered with retaining information swiftly has now become a thing of the past, a stark contrast from what we witnessed during her first-grade year.
The big thing for us is responsiveness and taking the time to clearly respond. The director was always accessible, and as accommodating as needed. When we needed to make changes, she also took action. I think there were some unforeseen staffing challenges the director has to respond to, and I thought Vincent didn’t really lose too much of a connection when the changes were made.
The changes my husband and I have seen in our daughter are so life changing for her. She is ready for kindergarten and ready for the rest of her life. Our daughter has much better impulse control and ability to adapt to a new challenging situation. When she is presented with a new task or learning skill that she finds challenging she does not shut down, during the time of the training she has transformed to be able to accept the challenge and process how she will conquer the challenge.
Working with Dr. Jackson and the staff at LearningRx has helped me understand where my 13-year-old son has struggles. His pretest showed that his auditory processing was around 6 years of age. The post test showed a significant 10-year gain which has resulted in less frustration when given tasks to complete. His visual, logic-reasoning and processing speed increased. We could not recommend this program enough. They worked with us virtually as we were out of state. We wouldn’t have been able to do it if they didn’t have that flexibility.
