Before coming to LearningRx, I was on medication for ADD and was having a difficult time concentrating and staying focused on tasks. Just a couple weeks after starting my training, I stopped taking my medication and saw improvements in my daily activities. I am able now to focus on finishing a task once its started. I can remember things much better now as well such as things I need to do or grocery lists. The most significant improvement I have seen is in my attention.

My daughter was paired with the perfect coach for her personality, and she grew tremendously where her skills lacked. Amelia’s grades went from C’s, D’s and F’s to A’s and B’s! She’s more confident and doesn’t shy away from reading. Plus, she loves school again.
LearningRx has done SO much to help my child. They worked with him on his level and made accommodations when needed to help him be successful in their program. When I first came to LearningRx I was not sure they could help me. I had not learned how to focus and I had real problems with math—all kinds. Then I began to see results of the training as did others around me. The most drastic results were noticed by my math tutor. She could not believe the focus and memory that I now had.
My son is on the spectrum and doesn’t do well with classroom learning and the environment here has been great for him. If you have a struggling learner and/or reader, I HIGHLY recommend brain training. The more I have learned about tutoring vs brain training, the more I wish I had gotten him here sooner.
After he completed the program the first year, his reading significantly improved along with his word attack. He loves to read and this really helped his confidence. I would highly recommend this program for anyone struggling with reading comprehension and math skills, especially if you tried traditional tutoring. This is not a tutoring program, it is building a foundation on how to process skills in order to perform well in all areas of life including school. After completing a 20-week program, we’ve seen great improvements in her abilities at school. She is better able to stay focused and deal with distractions, something that had previously been a challenge. Her confidence has soared and this boost in self-assurance has been evident in all areas of her academic and social life. Math, which once felt like a constant struggle, has become much easier for her. She now handles math facts with greater ease and working through her math homework no longer causes the same frustration.
Everyone has worked so super great with our son and made sure he had everything he needed to work with. Our son has fine motor skills problems and before going to LearningRx you could not read his writing. After his trainer Ms. Diana worked with him on his writing skills and hand muscles; we could not believe how well his writing improved.

My three homeschooled sons are dyslexic and have received services at LearningRx Dublin via the Jon Peterson Scholarship. Our daughter has enjoyed LearningRx and went from struggling to finish assignments to completing them and doing them correctly. She never wanted to read on her own without prompting and now will pick up books by herself to read. She said this is her best school year so far which is a huge change from the previous years.
