Our son struggled in school and started to disconnect because it became frustrating. After working with LearningRx everything changed, he talked about school in a positive way, grades came around. Now since 9th grade he has been on the honor roll every semester and is better organized. Some kids made fun of me because I could not read our sound out words. I did not like myself very much. Now I do! I can now participate in classes at school and church and not be embarrassed or afraid to read out loud or give answers like the other students. I am finally making decent grades! Now my mom cries when I read to her because I can read!
LearningRx has been so helpful for my daughter in her reading journey! My son has Aspergers and was really hard for him to tell me what happen at school or tell me anything. In the second month I started to notice he was talking more, my sister noticed the same and even one teacher told me this boy is different he is talking way more. This is the main progress that I appreciate about this program, he gained more confidence too.
Our daughter always walked out after her session with a big smile, feeling more confident. Her short and long-term memory have improved, noticeable in her daily school and home routines. Her number sense has improved dramatically. Proof of this has been her ability to understand and work with factors, fractions, and the coordinate system, which I thought would be an extremely difficult task to accomplish.
This is an awesome program, my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and LearningRx really helped her to improve in her reading and her self-esteem skyrocketed. Chloe’s behavior has gotten better in the classroom and her grades greatly improved. Donesa Walker and her staff are amazing. When Katrina first came to LearningRx, we had a frustrated, almost angry daughter who was having a difficult time at school and receiving poor grades. To our delight, Katrina has made a transformation back into her true self in many ways. She’s happy again, speaking positively about her work, her performance, school, and herself in general.
