Recovering from a concussion or traumatic brain injury (TBI) can be a difficult journey, especially during school and extracurricular activities. This journey can be especially hard when core cognitive skills — like memory and concentration — fail to recover as quickly as hoped. Our programs allow clients to target skills like memory and concentration.

While brain training is not a cure for brain injuries, kids and teens with brain injuries can work on cognitive skills like memory and focus at LearningRx.

Custom Training for Kids and Teens with Brain Injuries

At LearningRx, we develop a custom training plan for every client, including clients who have suffered concussions or other types of brain injuries. To develop this plan, we discuss the client’s history and training goals. We also conduct a skills assessment to measure cognitive abilities. We can then target the specific skills that each client needs the most help improving.

Clients who are recovering from brain injuries often report cognitive problems, such as poor memory, thinking more slowly than usual, or having trouble focusing on a particular task. If you or a loved one have struggled with specific cognitive skills following a brain injury, we can design a concussion help or brain injury help plan to focus on these abilities.
