Welcome! I’m Gina Cruz. As the owner of the North Central San Antonio LearningRx Brain Training Center, I’ve been actively involved in the field of cognitive science and training over the past 14 years. I’m the mother of two boys and hold an Educational Specialist Degree, Master’s Degree in Special Education and a certification as an Educational Diagnostician. I’m currently working toward my Ph.D. as an Educational Psychologist. Formerly, I was an elementary, special education and Montessori-certified teacher. Having worked with students with varying learning disabilities, I believe that all people have potential. It is my goal to strengthen the learning of those with learning challenges and give them the tools they need for success. Kathy DeLeon

My name is Kathy DeLeon. I have been working in Early Childhood Education for more than 25 years. I was a Texas State licensed Director for both Montessori Schools and Child Development programs for 15 of those years. I hold a Montessori Certification for preschool ages 3-6 and a CDA in Early Childhood Education. My husband and I owned a LearningRx Center in NW San Antonio, until I decided to join forces with our daughter, Gina. I am passionate about changing children’s lives by giving them the tools needed to be better learners. I have two daughters and four grandsons, ranging from 15-24
Amber Ivey

I am a bubbly, warm-hearted person who loves learning and helping children reach their maximum potential. Nothing melts my heart more than seeing a child equipped with the tools to thrive and conquer the world! I enjoy reading, completing puzzles and spending time with my fur baby. I have taught fourth and fifth grade for several years and served as a coach for novice teachers. My favorite subjects to teach are reading and writing, for with a book and a pen, there’s no limit to where you can go! I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Texas Lutheran University and plan on furthering my education in the near future.

My name is Christy Paul, and I have been at Learning Rx for nearly 2 years! It has been so wonderful to work here. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Abilene Christian University. I enjoy all aspects of training, but especially getting to know my students and encouraging them and helping them to believe in themselves. An interesting fact about me is that I come from a large family. I have two brothers and twelve sisters! I know what you’re thinking, and you’re right. We are the coolest family ever! After all, normal is only a cycle on the washing machine. I am excited to meet your child and work with you to help your child grow and learn!:)

Hello, my name is Ivette Sanchez, on my free time I enjoy staying active, reading, and spending time with my friends and family. My students like to describe me as funny, competitive, and nice.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and double minor in Psychology and Nutrition. Currently I’m attending The University of The Incarnate Word in pursuit of my Masters in Exercise Physiology. I aspire to obtain a Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology and Doctorates as an Occupational Therapist.

Hello, my name is Jordan Tyler, I was born on Oahu, Hawaii. I moved to San Antonio in 2016 to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. I love music, I grew up playing brass instruments and have worked with children since 2013. My favorite holiday is Christmas, particularly because I enjoy decorating. I like to stay busy, and learn new things. I have been working at LearningRx since February 2018, and I absolutely love my job here!
Paige Tolson

My name is Paige. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2013 with Bachelor’s Degree in Biology as well as Psychology. I continued working in a neurophysiology research lab after graduation, and published multiple research projects and papers during my time there. I started as a trainer at LearningRx in May of 2016. In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing guitar, and spending time outdoors.
