March Newsletter

Each month, we have a variety of fun activities to get people involved; and we invite our students as well as community members. These events can be found on our Events page and Facebook page. We would love to have you join us at one of our future events. The March newsletter focuses on Brain Awareness Month.

For Brain Awareness Month, we designated one week as Brain Awareness Week. Of course, we planned a lot of activities for the month and especially that week. The first event was the kickoff for our #chillandread challenge. We have reading bingo boards for all ages with some great prize. Because reading is so important for our brain growth, you can read to win some fantastic prizes. The bingo boards are in the newsletter and on our Facebook page.

For brain awareness week, we celebrated National Pi Day and St. Patrick’s Day. Firstly, we gave out flower seed packets and brainy treats. Following, several local practitioners came by for a No More Baby Shower to teach about perimenopause and menopause. Finally, wee ended our month with our Family Game Night on National Memory Day.
