What is Dyslexia?

Many people believe dyslexia, which affects as many as 1 in 5 children, is caused by a problem with the brain’s ability to see things—for instance, seeing the letter b as the letter d. But in reality, dyslexia is caused by a “phonological processing” issue, which effects the way people manipulate language. Check out this video from TedEd to learn more about dyslexia.
