COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – On January 16, White House physician and Navy Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson released the results of President Trump’s Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), saying he scored a 30 out of 30.

The MoCA, which is designed to detect early signs of dementia, uses simple cognitive tasks, such as drawing the hands of a clock set to a specific time, memorizing strings of words and identifying images of animals. But according to Dr. Collin Herman, a neurology resident physician at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, it’s not difficult for anyone to get a perfect score, as long as they don’t have any cognitive impairment. As Dr. Herman explained it to, “A person operating at full capacity, not coming off a 12-hour shift or sleep-deprived, should be able to get everything right, maybe missing one at the most.”
