We were not sure where to turn with Conner. He's a great kid and super smart but really struggled in school, especially with reading and writing. Not only did he struggle, but we were starting to see some behavior issues and Conner was starting to not care and didn't want to go to school at all. The school wanted to make the work easier or cut it in half so that Conner wouldn't struggle so much. We didn't want to just make it easier, we wanted him to get better at it. Everyone was frustrated and no one was sure what to do next.
After a lot of research and not many answers, we decided to do the brain quiz on the Learning RX website. Darci reached out right away and we set up an appointment to discuss Conner's struggles and needs. Everything she explained really hit home. We knew right away that the program was exactly what Conner needed.
We can't say that Conner has loved every minute, because there are days that he really doesn't want to do the work. However, he has seen the results himself and he knows that the harder he tries at Learning RX, the easier school is becoming! He is doing better with spelling, reading, comprehension and just listening in general during class time. At home, we've watched Conner go from completely refusing to read and do homework to asking us to listen to him read. Homework time has been cut down from several hours in the evening to only about 20 minutes.
Learning RX has helped Conner's self confidence tremendously. It's also helped our confidence as parents!
