Brain Training in Highlands Ranch

What if you could train your brain to unlock hidden abilities? At LearningRx Highlands Ranch, that’s exactly what you can expect from brain training. Our programs help kids and adults learn easier, think faster, and improve mental performance – all through the power of one-on-one brain training.

Through one-on-one training sessions, we help kids and teens build the skills they need for a lifetime of learning. Our wide range of programs makes it easy to find reading help, math help, or help with a learning difference, such as ADHD or dyslexia. We even offer training for adults who want to boost cognitive skills or improve their memory.

With our unique approach – backed by over 30 years of research and practice – anyone can transform the way they learn and think!

How Brain Training Works

To help you or your child strengthen cognitive skills, we’ll design a one-of-a-kind training plan, and we’ll target cognitive skills in one-on-one training sessions. Here’s a closer look at how our training methods work, plus how they differ from other solutions – like tutoring.

Assessment & Personalized Plan

At LearningRx Highlands Ranch, every client’s journey starts with a Brain Skills Assessment. This gives us a unique understanding of each learner’s cognitive skill set. We learn which skills are strongest, as well as which skills have the most room for improvement.

We then develop a personalized plan and training program around these results. This way, each client’s program is targeting the skills where brain training will have the biggest impact.

One-on-One Training Session

Our approach is a lot like personal training. But instead of targeting muscle groups, we target brain skills like short-term memory, attention span, and logic skills. Through one-on-one training sessions with a dedicated brain trainer, kids and adults can quickly strengthen the skills most in need of improvement.

A typical training plan lasts from four to six months, with multiple sessions per week. During each session, our brain trainer provides direct feedback and encouragement, helping the learner stay engaged with the material.

Brain Training or Tutoring?

While tutoring can be useful for students who’ve fallen behind, it offers limited help for students who need to improve their core learning skills. At LearningRx Highlands Ranch, we focus on building these core skills, instead of simply repeating what’s taught in class.

Our approach can be a game-changer for students who are having trouble paying attention, who are struggling with reading or math, or who have learning differences such as ADHD.

“The people at LearningRx were phenomenal! Our son went through their program. They understood his difficulties well and lovingly held him accountable. Had we known the difference they would make in his life, not only academically, but also with executive functions in his everyday, we would have worked with LearningRx at an earlier age. He struggled far too long because we didn’t know how to help him, but the people at LearningRx did! We highly recommend them and the earlier the better.”

“Exceptional experience and significant improvement! Our 18 year old, who always had very good grades, felt he wasn’t retaining information when he read. He was working so much harder than necessary because he wasn’t processing as well as he could have. We finally decided to try Learning RX. In a four month program, our son’s skills showed significant progress in every area that was previously only average. He noticed his ability to pay more attention and retain information increased, studying feels easier and he is excelling in college. We are truly grateful.”

“We’ve seen so much improvement in our son’s performance in so many areas, including his confidence and his ability to handle frustrating situations without “shutting down”. The LearningRx team has done a wonderful job in not only being his trainer, but also in encouraging him and being his “cheerleader”. His trainer has also been very helpful to us as parents in knowing how to help our son at home. We are confident the investment in LearningRX will be one that pays dividends for life in our son!

“My father, who struggles with dementia and speech, has been participating in brain training at LearningRx for the past few months. The family is noticing obvious improvements with dad’s social interactions, memory, and speech. His trainer is patient, kind, and makes brain exercising fun! Because of the help and work of the trainer at LearningRx, my father’s quality of life has improved significantly. We are amazed and sincerely grateful! I highly recommend LearningRx!”
