Our approach is unique for every learner. In a friendly, dynamic environment, students work through drills and brain games. Guided by a one-on-one brain trainer, they exert and strengthen core brain skills.

How Brain Training Works

To help you or your child strengthen cognitive skills, we’ll design a one-of-a-kind training plan, and we’ll target cognitive skills in one-on-one training sessions. Here’s a closer look at how our training methods work, plus how they differ from other solutions — like tutoring.

Assessment & Personalized Plan

At LearningRx Cary, we know everyone has unique learning needs. Starting with a Brain Skills Assessment, we personalize training programs with each client in mind. 

That way, programs are always tailored to the needs and learning style of each student. Over the course of months, learners can fast-track their brain skills, improving overall cognitive performance. 

One-on-One Training Sessions

In the same way our muscles benefit from personal training, our brains respond to focused cognitive training. Targeted, intense training helps students boost skills like working memory, attention, and logic/reasoning. 

During one-on-one sessions, learners work through drills and brain games. Led by a trainer, they apply and enhance their cognitive skills. Trainers offer immediate feedback, encouragement, and motivation.

Brain Training or Tutoring?

When we learn, there are two factors at play: new information, and the brain skills we use to process this new information. 

While tutoring helps to relay new information, cognitive training helps to bolster those fundamental brain skills. At LearningRx Cary, we target the cognitive skills learners rely on throughout their lives–in the classroom, at work, and at home.
