New method for boosting math learning

Researchers in Switzerland have developed an intervention to help students learn math. The program is said to help students "surpass their intuitions and rely on the use of math principles." Is it effective?

According to a summary of the results, the ACE-Arithm-Ecole saw more than half of students develop the skills to solve difficult problems, while only 29.8% were able to do it using traditional math methods.
