Eating fish while pregnant may improve baby’s attention later

Although most pregnant women probably know not to risk eating raw sushi, a new study from Barcelona Institute for Global Health has shown the importance of eating a diet rich in lean and fatty (cooked) fish during the first few months of pregnancy to help improve attention capacity in the offspring at age 8. Seafood is the main source of DHA and EPA, nutrients that help in the development of healthy fetal brain structure and function.
