“Thank you so much for bringing out the best in [our daughter]! It’s been absolutely delightful to see [her] enjoy learning!”

“[My son] enjoyed his time at LearningRx. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Everyone at LearningRx is so kind and positive. Thank you for everything.”

Margaret C. - February 2008
Mother of Stephen, Age 16

“Can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our time at Rx – we can’t believe how much [Madison’s] confidence levels have increased and how well she did in the program. [Her] grades reflect the same and we are thrilled beyond words. Even she says things in school are just much easier now. This program was just what she needed and we are so glad we signed her up.

This program is so unique but so logical as an answer to the problems some children have in school. I've already recommended several people to the program and will continue to do so.”

Linda M. - January 2007
Mother of Madison, age 8

“Oh my gosh. The first day here I fell in love with LearningRx – the trainers, the games, the challenges, it was amazing. I honestly really, really enjoyed my time here and saw my efforts here show in school. I will miss you all!!!”

Female - January 2008
Age 17

“We are so impressed by the program!!! We can see the results from [our son] during and after he has finished the program. The trainers were great and made the program fun. All of the activities were helpful in [his] success! Thank you all!!!”

Mr. & Mrs. P. - August 2007
Parents of Kenny, Age 12

“There are so many positive changes, but one of the most significant changes is that [Joey] can now remember things, such as details from his day at school, homework assignments and what he is supposed to do with it and even classmates names. Homework is no longer the neverending drama that existed from 1st through the beginning of 4th grade. He is able to complete written assignments at school during class time, which was always a weekly complaint from the teachers. His behavior has changed a lot... no more silent lunches! He even made it to the Spelling Bee at his school, which boosted his self-esteem tremendously. His attention span has increased significantly...LRX training is the only thing that has helped. We tried different medications for 2 years without results. Now, [Joey] is medication free and doing great. There are still challenges, but [he] is now more confident and capable of handling them now. Before LRX, we were just floundering in the dark trying to find anything that would help our son. Thank you so much!!”

S.R. - January 2007
Mother of Joey, Age 10

“Thank you for your work with [my son] last year. Although he came to you as a very bright and intelligent child, your training has no doubt improved his learning and test-taking confidence and ability. It with great pride that I tell you, [he] has been offered a space at St. John’s School of Houston, beginning Fall 2008. He scored between a 98% and 99% on his individual exam. We wish Learning Rx continued success in each endeavor to improve learning. May you have many opportunities to be part of your customers’ individual growth and achievements.”

M.S. - March 2008
Mother of Ishan, Age 5

“My only regret is that I didn’t find this program years ago. As an adult, I faced challenges that were unnecessary, complicating my ability to achieve goals, both in work and everyday life. As a result, my self esteem was very low. Thanks to this program and the dedication of my trainer I can now hold my head high, and face challenges head – on that, previously, I would have dreaded and procrastinated about – like taking the MENSA test with outstanding scores!”

Executive Director

Dear Betsy,

It has been almost a year since our child Tyler Jackson completed your program. When LearningRx come to Sugar Land, Texas our son Tyler was on summer break and starting in August going into the fourth grade with a very low second grade reading level, according to the school. I didn’t think that he was even at second grade reading level because compared to my younger son who was going into the 2nd grade, and reading on a second grade level the reading difference between Tyler and Zachary was much, much more. In fact Tyler on many occasions would ask Zachary to read to him because he couldn’t read much and of course Zachary would willing. We knew that we had to do something as it seemed that the school was very limited on what they could offer. We tried Kumon, but quickly found that this program was not for Tyler as he had many cognitive issues due to his epilepsy. We prayed that something would come our way that would work on altering his brain so that he was able to retain information, improve his memory, keep him focused. I have to say that our prayers were answered.

When we went into the program Tyler had an EEG (yearly EEG) and his brain had so much epileptic activity. He had what was known as CSWS (Continuous Spike Waves While Sleeping) He also had this activity during his wake periods. His sleeping patterns were disturbed significantly, hence being tired at school, unable to retain information, not remembering what he just learned and unable to keep focused. So we made the call to Betsy who did not even have her building yet, and we got Tyler tested to see what we could find. Mind you we knew what she would find as he has been tested by a Pediatric Neuropsychologist. Everyone would say it was cognitive issues, but could offer nothing as far as training for this so called cognitive issues until Learning Rx was sent to us by prayers. So we had LearningRx test Tyler and come up with a 24 week program with the Think and Read program. Within very little time we started to notice changes in Tyler. First his confidence in himself started to improve then came the reading, the ability to retain information, improvement in his memory and his focus, not necessarily in that order, but it seemed that it was all happening at once. The look on my child’s face when he could read with confidence and clarity… We all knew this was what Tyler needed. Of course now we can’t keep this child out of the book store and from buying books that are way above his grade level, but it is definitely worth it! Tyler finished the program with LearningRx and scores soared when he was tested again. There has been a huge change in Tyler not only with his academic scores, but with his physical education as well. One more exciting piece of news, because Tyler is epileptic he has an EEG yearly. We recently had the results of his EEG and have found that his brain activity has been altered! He no longer has epileptic activity in the Frontal Lobes, which is where language resides, hence his improvement in language arts! This year we have been told that Tyler is doing so well with his language arts that we are discussing moving him to a regular classroom for his language arts! I am in complete belief that cognitive training has changed the pattern of Tyler’s brain activity for the better!

Thank you LearningRx for helping my child whom I knew had the capability of learning in a regular classroom setting, to move forward with his education and for possibly being part of altering his epileptic brain activity for the better! Thank you Betsy for bringing this opportunity to our community of Sugar Land, Texas! Hopefully other communities will benefit from your program, you go girl!
