“We came to this program with the hope of increasing Jordan’s concentration, self-confidence and willingness to attack and complete challenging assignments. Our expectations were exceeded within the first two weeks. Jordan is willing to take initiative with his work and has learned to keep trying until he is finished. The overall mood of our home changed almost immediately. During homework time after school, I used to need to sit with Jordan the entire time with a completely silent house. “Miles has enjoyed his LearningRx Experience with Janice. She has been friendly and positive. I think he has been surprised at what he can do. He started off saying “I can’t do it” but then realized that he could. As for how the program has affected his school performance, we will have to wait and see. School starts next week, and I am hoping/expecting 2nd grade to go smoother for him from an academic/focus perspective. I can say that his reading has improved over the summer.
