- Activities address reading with expression (rhythm, intonation, and phrasing) at the phrase, sentence, and text level to enhance the understanding of the passage. Frees students from the word-by-word or sound-by-sound process of reading.
- Improves ability to anticipate what comes next in the text to facilitate reaction time and improve comprehension.
