LearningRx Expands With The Addition Of Six New Centers

Colorado Springs, Colorado – Colorado Springs-based LearningRx is increasing its number of franchises from 36 to 42. The recent purchase of franchises in several metropolitan locales indicates franchise growth of over 16 percent.
“Two factors are contributing to the rapid growth,” explains LearningRx Chief Operations Officer, Dean Tenpas. “The first is a growing awareness of the role cognitive skills play in learning. The second factor is the success of our other centers.”
According to Tenpas, research shows that underlying problems with cognitive skills can affect the speed at which people learn, the extent to which they can learn and the length of time they retain learned information. LearningRx cognitive skills testing and training identifies and addresses weaknesses in auditory and visual processing, memory skills, general processing speed, and logic and reasoning.
“People are becoming more aware that they can retrain their brains,” says Tenpas. “They’re coming to LearningRx looking for the tools to do it.”
People in the following new LearningRx locations will soon have those tools readily available: Madison, Wisconsin; Nashville, Tennessee; Tampa Bay, Florida; Norfolk, Virginia; Apple Valley, California and San Antonio, Texas.
“Our learning centers are experiencing phenomenal success,” says Tenpas. “We intend to continue increasing profitability while improving the cognitive skills of people throughout the nation.”
LearningRx Centers help individuals of all ages and performance levels. Unlike tutoring or computer-based programs that focus on behavior management or specific academic skills, LearningRx provides cognitive skills training that improve the brain's ability to process information. It does for mental abilities what exercise does for the body.
