LearningRx Center Opening In Tampa Bay Area
Colorado Springs, CO
Colorado Springs-based LearningRx is opening a new center in North Pinellas County. The cognitive skills training center is one of six new LearningRx franchises that were granted and trained in recent months. 42 LearningRx Centers now exist throughout the nation.
Patty Burrows, franchisee of the LearningRx Tampa Bay-area franchise, says she is eager to open her center and benefit Florida children with the program. “I am excited to make a huge impact on my community by helping to close the achievement gap, improve self-esteem and cognitive skills, and move students forward with reading skills to become lifetime learners and achievers,” explains Burrows. “I believe all students can learn and I am anxious to be part of unlocking the potential to learn in my community.”
LearningRx Chief Operations Officer, Dean Tenpas, says the Tampa Bay-area LearningRx center is a welcome addition. “We are certain that Patty and her staff will help us continue to grow in our mission to improve the way people read and learn,” says Tenpas. “We’re thrilled to have a presence in the Tampa Bay area.”
Burrows plans on opening her center’s doors early next year and encourages people wanting more information to visit the LearningRx web site at www.learningrx.com.
LearningRx Centers help individuals of all ages and performance levels. Unlike tutoring or computer-based programs that focus on behavior management or specific academic skills, LearningRx provides cognitive skills training that improve the brain's ability to process information. It does for mental abilities and the brain what exercise does for the body.
