LearningRx Center Opening In Brentwood

Colorado Springs-based LearningRx is opening a new center in Brentwood this fall. The cognitive skills training center is one of six new LearningRx franchises that were granted and trained in recent months. 42 franchises exist throughout the nation.
Melissa Watts, franchisee of the Brentwood LearningRx, says she is eager to open her center and benefit local children and adults with the program. “Cognitive skills can be identified, trained and strengthened through the LearningRx program,” explains Watts. “At my center, we will be able to target and modify the brain to overcome deficiencies a person might be experiencing.”
LearningRx Chief Operations Officer, Dean Tenpas, says the Brentwood LearningRx center is a welcome addition. “We are certain that Melissa and her staff will help us continue to grow in our mission to improve the way people read and learn,” says Tenpas. “We’re thrilled to have a presence in the Nashville area.”

LearningRx Centers help individuals of all ages and performance levels. Unlike tutoring or computer-based programs that focus on behavior management or specific academic skills, LearningRx provides cognitive skills training that improve the brain's ability to process information. It does for mental abilities and the brain what exercise does for the body.
