Mission Viejo LearningRx Wins Two Awards at National Convention

Colorado Springs, Colorado – The Mission Viejo LearningRx centers were presented with the Franchisees of the Year and Pacesetter Awards at the company’s 2006 National Convention held in Colorado Springs recently.
“We’re proud of the tremendous accomplishments of our Mission Viejo team,” explains LearningRx Chief Operations Officer, Dean Tenpas. “Franchise owners Rahimeh Andalibian, Julian DosSantos, Russell Griffiths and their staffs are impacting the lives of hundreds of Californians with their commitment to improving the way people read and learn.”
According to Tenpas, the Franchisee of the Year Award was given to the Mission Viejo center for best exemplifying the passion, business expertise and the quality of services needed to be a successful LearningRx franchise. The Pacesetter Award was given to the center for earning the most outstanding growth among first-year franchises.
“The Mission Viejo center is a proven leader among LearningRx’s other franchises and a catalyst for expansion,” says Tenspas. “The success of the Mission Viejo team is part of the reason we are growing so rapidly.”
Colorado Springs-based LearningRx recently increased its number of franchises from 36 to 42. The purchase of franchises in several metropolitan locales this summer indicates franchise growth of over 16 percent.
“In Mission Viejo and throughout the nation, our learning centers are experiencing phenomenal success,” says Tenpas. “We intend to continue increasing profitability while improving the cognitive skills of people everywhere.”
LearningRx Centers help individuals of all ages and performance levels. Unlike tutoring or computer-based programs that focus on behavior management or specific academic skills, LearningRx provides cognitive skills training that improve the brain's ability to process information. It does for mental abilities and the brain what exercise does for the body.
