Appleton LearningRx Franchise Owner Wins Award at National Convention
Colorado Springs, Colorado – Jody Jedlicka, owner of the Appleton LearningRx Center, brought home the Glia Award from the company’s 2006 National Convention held recently in Colorado Springs.
“The Glia Award honors Jody for being the most supportive of the LearningRx franchisees,” explains LearningRx Chief Operations Officer, Dean Tenpas. “The award takes its name from the Glia cell, which is a support cell.”
According to Tenpas, Jedlicka’s Appleton LearningRx Center is a proven leader among LearningRx’s other franchises and a catalyst for expansion. “The success and recruitment efforts of the Appleton team,” says Tenpas “is part of the reason we are growing so rapidly.”
Colorado Springs-based LearningRx recently increased its number of franchises from 36 to 42. The purchase of franchises in several metropolitan locales this summer indicates franchise growth of over 16 percent.
“In Appleton and throughout the nation, our learning centers are experiencing phenomenal success,” says Tenpas. “We intend to continue increasing profitability while improving the cognitive skills of people everywhere.”
LearningRx Centers help individuals of all ages and performance levels. Unlike tutoring or computer-based programs that focus on behavior management or specific academic skills, LearningRx provides cognitive skills training that improve the brain's ability to process information. It does for mental abilities and the brain what exercise does for the body.
