Bath LearningRx Center Wins Award at National Convention

Colorado Springs, Colorado – The Bath LearningRx Center was presented with the Escalation Award at the company’s 2006 National Convention held in Colorado Springs last weekend.
“We’re proud of the tremendous accomplishments of our Bath team,” explains LearningRx Chief Operations Officer, Dean Tenpas. “Franchise owner Chris Schroeder and her staff are impacting hundreds of lives in Ohio with their commitment to improving the way people read and learn.”
According to Tenpas, the Bath center is a proven leader among LearningRx’s other franchises and a catalyst for expansion. “The Escalation Award is given to the center with the largest increase in performance from the previous calendar year,” explains Tenpas. “That’s measured in terms of the number of students served.”
Colorado Springs-based LearningRx recently increased its number of franchises from 36 to 42. The purchase of franchises in several metropolitan locales this summer indicates franchise growth of over 16 percent.
“In Ohio and throughout the nation, our learning centers are experiencing phenomenal success,” says Tenpas. “We intend to continue increasing profitability while improving the cognitive skills of people everywhere.”
LearningRx Centers help individuals of all ages and performance levels. Unlike tutoring or computer-based programs that focus on behavior management or specific academic skills, LearningRx provides cognitive skills training that improve the brain's ability to process information. It does for mental abilities and the brain what exercise does for the body.
