Greenville LearningRx Wins Two Awards at National Convention
Colorado Springs, CO
Colorado Springs, Colorado – The Greenville LearningRx center brought home two awards from the company’s 2006 National Convention held in Colorado Springs last weekend. Becky McLaughlin received the Director of the Year Award and Lynette Chevalier received the Trainer of the Year Award.
“We’re proud of the tremendous accomplishments of Becky and Lynette,” explains LearningRx Chief Operations Officer, Dean Tenpas. “Their commitment to improving the way people read and learn is directly impacting many lives in the Greenville area.”
According to Tenpas, it was McLaughlin’s passion, leadership and commitment that earned her the Director of the Year Award and Chevalier’s caring and professionalism that earned her the Trainer of the Year honor. “The success of the Greenville team,” says Tenpas “is part of the reason we are growing so rapidly.”
Colorado Springs-based LearningRx recently increased its number of franchises from 36 to 42. The purchase of franchises in several metropolitan locales this summer indicates franchise growth of over 16 percent.
“In Greenville and throughout the nation, our learning centers are experiencing phenomenal success,” says Tenpas. “We intend to continue increasing profitability while improving the cognitive skills of people everywhere.”
LearningRx Centers help individuals of all ages and performance levels. Unlike tutoring or computer-based programs that focus on behavior management or specific academic skills, LearningRx provides cognitive skills training that improve the brain's ability to process information. It does for mental abilities and the brain what exercise does for the body.
