"The biggest success is Stanley's attitude and self-image. He is willing to take on challenges and not give up! His grades have improved as he has learned to recognize the value of hard work. My son is a different person because of LearningRx!"
Stanley, age 14
“Chase has always been hard on himself and has had a low self esteem. Often when he would get frustrated he would have an angry outburst, especially at school. He is no longer seeing a therapist for this, and has not had an outburst since LearningRx. Chase also had a hard time in school memorizing things like math facts and spelling words. His memory is greatly improved as well. Chase is also planning for his future, talking about what he wants to do after High School. Hopefully the NHL is in his future.”
Chase, age 11
“Michael is a hands-on learner, and very visual. The activities and cognitive concepts he did increased his confidence to a level I had never seen with any other learning programs. Before, the frustration was unbearable, yet with his trainer at LearningRx, I saw Michael excited every time he went to a session, and eager to share the skills he accomplished! Michael has learned to concentrate, and for the first time can complete work without someone standing or sitting next to him.”
Michael, age 11
“Prior to LearningRx, Brady’s life included many different assessments and suggested “solutions” to improve his world. Illness had resulted in speech classes, eye exercises, and reading specialists. Tutoring was a constant part of his life. As a parent, I searched for ways that corrected difficulties, smoothed challenges and hopefully, enhanced Brady’s life in some way. Never completely satisfied, we decided together on one final approach. LearningRx became the “last hurrah”, and hopefully the answer we had been searching for. I must admit, that the lifestyle of a highly social and involved thirteen year old resulted in a unique challenge for the staff and trainers at LearningRx. Their creativity and dedication became an integral part of Brady’s experience. In the six month long process, I observed Brady memorizing lists and grouping sets and patterns at remarkable speed. I observed him doing things that seemed impossible. In the end, I see pride in his eyes, and a feeling of confidence that comes with success.”
Brady, age 14
