“I have been a counselor in elementary and secondary schools for eight years. This is the best program I have seen. I love the fact that this program has the ability to help the weak student succeed and the strong student excel. We have struggled with our son's reading for years. He repeated second grade with the hope that a second year would put him on grade level with his reading ability. Unfortunately a repeat of second grade left us more frustrated with little growth in his reading ability. At this point we knew that he was bright. He had ITBS (standardized test) scores above the 95th percentile in math, yet 35th percentile and 23rd percentile in language and spelling respectively. We had him tested through Special Education services to see what services he would benefit from. The testing revealed a deficiency in reading/spelling, qualifying him for special education services. I was not convinced that this was the best route for my child and decided to follow up on a 15 second conversation about a place called LearningRx. I was immediately convinced the program was valid after the pre-test consultation. My husband was not at all sold when he learned of the price. His comment was, “How can we afford this?” My reply, “How can we afford not to?” My husband would now tell you that it was worth every penny. LearningRx has saved my child. I have seen my child grow in his reading and confidence more in the past 18 weeks than ever before. Homework is no longer the nightly struggle we have contended with in past years. He is more excited about school and learning. His frustration level has been greatly reduced resulting in many less tears. I have considered opening my own LearningRx center with our upcoming move.”

“God blessed us greatly when we were allowed to adopt a sibling group that included our beloved son. He had Shaken Baby Syndrome at the age of 6 months and was born mildly mentally retarded. He was in foster care from the age of 6 ½ years old. He wasn’t even taught the alphabet until his 3rd grade year of elementary. We brought him here, at the age of 16 after 2 frustrating years of home schooling. He couldn’t hold the information long enough to pass a weekly test in both early math and reading skills. He dreamed of college and so did we. So we sought out LearningRx. After testing, a plan was laid out that we felt that with an honest commitment and strong encouragement could be accomplished. In No Area Were We Disappointed! His trainer was fantastic and very well matched to his and our needs. He became a self-starter and has shown really wonderful accomplishments in life application, retaining, grouping and just a number of other areas that have given him an incredible stride towards feeling and thinking like his “normal” friends. I gladly add LearningRx, Ms. Deitra, Melissa and the other ladies to our “Greatest Blessings!” This experience has changed us as parents of Special Needs child forever. They gave us greater hope in our son’s education than we thought would ever be possible. Thank you forever changing us.”

“The reason we came to LearningRx was because Aaron was working all day at school, and then came home with TONS of homework, and worked (with mom, stomping and snorting!) all night long until bedtime getting his homework done. Since we have been about halfway through our 12 week course, Aaron hasn’t come home with nearly as much homework, plus, was doing it much more quickly. Towards the end of the 12-week period, he actually began to come home without homework! YEAH!!! Even when he does have homework, it is so much less than he used to have. YEAH!!! Aaron has always been a smart boy, it just takes him a long time to do what he has to do. He’s always had about a 90 or 92 average in school. Now, he is finding it easier to get even better grades, having more 100’s in the past few weeks than he’s ever had. It has affected his ability to get home chores done as well, even getting ready in the morning is speedier than before. Overall, we are very happy with the results from our 12 weeks with LearningRx. We’ll always be grateful for the Lord bringing you across our paths at just the right time, and for the Lord providing the funds needed to do this. Yes, it took dedication on our part, and made us so tremendously busy, as we are about 1 hour from the center. But, we are grateful for the opportunity to have Aaron be able to come here.”
