“It has been such a pleasure to see Natalie learn how to read. She has worked hard and it certainly has not been easy for her, but persistence paid off. Natalie spent 6 to 10 hours at home, which is 3 times what was asked of her but she knew she had a long way to go. The drills were tough, but they worked. Natalie is a changed person today. Her confidence level has increased tremendously. We have tried many different resources over the years and no one could help me until we found Learning Rx. Between the drills retraining Natalie’s thinking processes and Kelly, Natalie’s trainer, with her unfailing enthusiasm and encouragement, we found our miracle.”

“Kevin is off all medications - Big Benefit. He is better able to cope with Aspergers and Tourettes. His ability to focus on tasks at hand improved markedly. He's able to complete most homework now in class, and assignments at home are completed in a more timely and efficient manner. When Kevin is confronted now with a problem, he thinks about a plan of attack and then implements his plan by himself. Occasionally he requires some stimulation or prompting, but gets the job done quicker. Kevin has learned new skills that hopefully will carry on for years.”

“Nicholas does significantly more self-correcting when reading. More often than not, he concentrates better when he’s doing homework. He’s not so reluctant to get started doing homework. His spelling has improved. Most Importantly: He knows he’s improved and is proud of himself. At one time, in second grade, he told me that in order to do well in school he had to sit by a smart kid so he could ask them questions. Now, he considers himself as one of the smart kids. That is the icing on the cake!”

“Learning Rx has impacted Lindsay in many positive ways. For starters, it was pretty incredible for a seventeen year old teenage girl to humble herself and confess she needed help and wanted something better for her life. To put all teenage “ego” aside and totally commit to the hope of something more. And through the commitment of LearningRx, the wonderful trainer, and the hard work put forth by Lindsay, that is exactly what she has – a more excellent way of thinking, understanding and accuracy in application. She is no longer intimidated by tests, but takes the challenge with well-thought-out order and confidence in her answers. Learning Rx brings hope when you’ve tried everything else and brings results that bring lifelong blessing to our children. Thank you for your commitment to excellence and giving Lindsay hope and confidence.”

“Learning Rx has encouraged Heather to step out of her comfort zone and push herself in areas that she would have normally given up on because they were too frustrating for her. It has given her more confidence to face new challenges, both academically and socially. Timed activities no longer cause her as much anxiety and her focus on assignments she dislikes is better. She now works more independently without me having to constantly remind her to stay on task.”
