“Brian was met with challenges in focus. We had attempted many holistic types of treatment along with counseling as medication was not our first option. LearningRx assisted Brian in focus, memory, confidence, and imagination. He can now sit in a room with distractions, read a book and write about what he read. Prior to LearningRx he had difficulty making up fictional stories. Now he is pretty good at it. Previously he would argue about sitting down to do homework or read. Now he chooses to do it on his own.
Thank you to Carlos [Brian’s trainer] who showed true commitment to getting Brian through each level and pushed Brian to do his best all the time.”

“We were amazed that Taylor could recite the presidents forward and backwards within a couple of weeks. We have seen her regain her confidence and interest in learning. LearningRx has given Taylor the skills to think “outside the box” and utilize her brain in ways she would never learn in school.”

“When Nicholas first started LearningRx he could not sit and focus on a task without his teacher standing beside him. He also could not keep from getting distracted. Five weeks into the lessons his teacher told me he was starting to finish his tasks without her help. By twelve weeks he was staying focused during the lessons and working independently. I know without LearningRx, Nicholas would probably be repeating kindergarten. His teacher is surprised at how much he changed (I honestly do not think I thought he could change). Nicholas loved coming to see Carlos and have his lesson. The entire staff at LearningRx have
been a blessing to work with.”

“Before I started LearningRx most people saw me as fairly smart (or at least as far as I knew) but everyone saw me as very slow. Now I found that I wasn’t slow—it was that I did not want to be fast. LearningRx helped me break that habit of being slow because I wanted to be slow. So I now know that if I need to be fast I have to want to be fast. I also used to have a great memory but some where along the way I must of lost it. But because LearningRx is such a helpful program I believe that I have that back.”

“Connor can more independently complete his homework and stay on task. Connor is more vocal and confident in his approach to unfamiliar tasks. He is able to keep up with school assignments and is better able to absorb class instructions. Connor has also improved in his ability to organize and schedule his time.”

“Abbie is a bright girl, full of energy and very competitive. Before LearningRx, we struggled with her, as focusing on homework and school-related tasks was difficult. She struggled with a high level of frustration in many areas, because she wanted to excel in her academics, but struggled to stay focused. She so wanted to meet our expectations and her own, but would often fall short because she just couldn’t concentrate enough to read her goals. During LearningRx, we began to see dramatic changes. Her attention span for homework increased to the point where it would take about ½ the time we had previously spent. Although she had many activities each day, she gradually began to see how with improved focus,, she could accomplish more, quickly. Her frustration has substantially subsided, as she feels so much more successful now, and therefore better about herself. She asked me if LearningRx made her smarter. I told her, “No, you were already smart… LearningRx just helped you focus better so you could show how smart you already were.” We are very pleased with her results from LearningRx, and would highly recommend it to others.”

“LearningRx was very helpful in overcoming our son’s difficulties in concentration, focus and work speed. He spends less time on homework and gets less frustrated. He is more confident that he can solve problems.”

“After graduating the program I just felt more confident in my reading. I could read faster and I could also understand the story much better than I did before I did the program. This program is really good for any age. I would recommend it to anyone.”
Tiffany, age 15
ReadRx Student - October 2007
“Ethan has made overwhelming progress during the program and especially once 2nd grade got under way. His teachers were impressed with his improvements over the summer which were “unheard of” for a child his age. I was pleasantly surprised by his willingness to work hard and never give up. He is happy to read now and never gives me a hard time about his schoolwork. For a
change we are looking forward to this next report card.”

“…after several weeks at LearningRx, my son was able to sit still and read for longer periods of time. He [now] gets less frustrated when he can’t answer or do a task correctly the first time. Even though my son is young, he has been able to notice the improvements in himself.”

“As my daughter went through the training and homework, I have seen a difference in how her attitude and belief in herself improved along with her abilities.”
